OUR STAFF

MIRDITH REMY-VALEUS, LMHC

I am a Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC) in MA. I offer individual and group therapy. I believe that everyone is the hero in their story. As a therapist, my approach is to meet the client where they are in their healing/wellbeing journey by being empathetic, supportive and encouraging. I guide/assist clients on acquiring the necessary skills/tools to live their optimal life while they navigate through their personal challenges. In my practice I have an eclectic approach while also using Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Mindfulness and Solution-focused therapy.

EMMANUEL DORVELUS, LMHC

Are you going through tough times in your life and need an experienced and patient therapist to talk to? Do you feel like you might benefit from some skills training, cognitive reframing and coaching to help you cope with your worries, stress, and disappointments? Let’s work together then! You will find that my trainings in Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT), Anxiety and Depression Interventions can be the support you need to help you regain your happiness. You will be working with a therapist determined to be helpful and understanding, grounded in a person-centered and culturally competent approach.

Please feel free to call or schedule a matching session. It will be a privilege talking to you!

My mental health professional career

started with being a therapeutic mentor, a paraprofessional, and later a clinician providing Children Behavioral Health Initiative services to families in poor neighborhoods of Boston. Now a supervisor, I've trained clinicians on cultural competency to see strengths in people despite their underprivileged circumstances.

ODNEY GELIN, MHC

My name is Odney Gelin, but I go by "Mimi". I am a Marriage & Family therapist who specialize in substance abuse. I became a therapist because of my own generational trauma I wanted to break away from, my approach with therapy has been holistic due to always wanting to do the inner child work. My goal has always been for my clients to be heard, seen and appreciated.

CLAUDEL CHEVRY, MSW

I am a student of life, a social worker, and a great believer in learning the tools needed to deal with the unwanted pressure of life. I have been in the Human Services industry for over sixteen years and have worked in various roles. My work history includes but is not limited to advocacy, clinical work, consultant, and Life coaching. In my work as a therapist, I have a unique  perspective in providing quality services that focus on building trust, respect, providing a nonjudgmental environment, and working with my patient to develop a treatment plan that addresses the underline cause of the diagnosis.

Ideally, my goal is to advocate and promote a world that grants full access to resources for all communities in need that focuses on fostering independence rather than creating dependency. Outside of work, I enjoy being around and making people laugh. I believe Laughter brings brighter days, even in the darkest moments in life. I enjoy photography, reading, and researching ways to improve lives in my free time. Some of my favorite activities include coaching and playing soccer, going to the gym, walking, and running. I also have a particular interest in life coaching teaching others how to find fulfillment in life.

Carolyn Henderson, MHC

I am a people person; I have provided human service support for about 20 years in different capacities. I work with diverse groups from various backgrounds and age ranges. I am here to support you and help devise a plan to get you back to your optimum level of functioning. My goal is to help you better understand yourself and feel happier and more fulfilled as a person.

Naomi Frye

I am a pre-licensed mental health clinician who provides personalized care to individuals who are experiencing emotional, behavioral, and/or interpersonal challenges via telehealth services. My goal is to create a safe environment for clients to build confidence and become the best versions of themselves. I take a  client-centered, collaborative, and compassionate approach to therapy, and utilizes a variety of evidence-based treatment methods, including Cognitive-behavioral Therapy (CBT), Motivational Interviewing (MI) Art and Play therapy.

Ester C. De Carvalho, M.ED., M.S

I am a Master Level Counseling Psychologist with an M.Ed. in Counseling Psychology and a

Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from Cambridge College. I also hold a Master of Science in

Crime and Justice Studies from Suffolk University. I am the author of the upcoming book on

Transcending Adversities.

I am a passionate Mental Health and Social Services provider and firmly believe that our mental,

physical, and social health are connected. Our well-being must involve commitment and

determination to embrace self-care, address our inner challenges, process our trauma, and

effectively cope by doing positive things to overcome external or environmental life stressors. I

believe in integrating physical and mental care or treatments with resolving social issues to

achieve optimal health. Also, based on my professional and personal experiences, I vigorously

defend that good mental health and high self-esteem are interconnected and cannot be separated.

I serve those individuals who are willing to improve their circumstances and want help for their

emotional and social support and master successful life skills and healthy coping strategies to

enhance their self-esteem, communication skills, nonviolent conflict resolution skills, process

and heal from their negative thoughts or trauma, positively express and manage anger and rage,

improve their academic or work performance, resolve work-related issues, improve economic

issues, strengthen their relationships, identifying inner strengths and occupational goals, resolve

domestic violence issues and family functioning, enhance their sense of well-being to be able to

overcome adversities and thrive.

As a Clinician, I routinely utilize the supportive psychotherapy approach, psychodynamic

therapy, cognitive behavioral therapy, Solution-focus therapy, Art-therapy including

journaling/narrative therapy, among the scientifically proven treatment modalities, depending on

my client's needs, strengths, and goals.
