As a psychotherapist at Ubuntu Psychotherapy Group, you can make meaningful and measurable differences in people’s lives. You give patients incredible support and teach them proven strategies to reduce emotional distress. You help them thrive at work, school, or with their friends and family. You focus on providing individual, couple, family, or group treatment and building transformative therapeutic alliances. You are there for patients when they are most symptomatic and support them through many different phases of life.


UBUNTU PSYCHOTHERAPY GROUP surrounds you with incredible colleagues who practice from an academic perspective - incorporating the best scientific literature when determining how to help patients. Your colleagues speak clearly and honestly about mental health issues and try to go the extra mile for patients. Our culture is down-to-earth and inspirational; you will want to keep learning and improving as a clinician when you hear your teammates share their creative, thoughtful, and informed work with patients.


You can add your expertise to our mix and contribute to the programs we offer to help children, teens, college students, adults, and older adults with many different behavioral health conditions. You may be skilled in CBT for phobias or experienced in teaching DBT to teens. You may be fascinated by Acceptance and Commitment Therapy or use Gottman or Emotionally Focused techniques in your work with couples. Responsibilities and Duties

  • Conduct outpatient psychotherapy
  • Contribute to or develop group-based treatment programs
  • Collaborate with colleagues treating different members of a family
  • Represent the practice in community presentations and lectures, if desired
  • Coordinate care with external providers
  • Continue to expand your ability to educate and treat a wide range of patients.
  • Participate in enriching the training experience of graduate students and postdoctoral fellows here.


Qualifications and Skills

  • Masters level degree in mental health counseling, psychology, social work or a related field from an accredited educational institution
  • License Eligible or Licensed ( MSW, LCSW, LICSW, LMHC, LMFT) - NEW GRADUATES WELCOME!
