Thank you for making Substance Use Services by Ubuntu part of your recovery journey. We hope that you find your experience supportive and empowering in achieving your personal goals. We strive toward individualized treatment and developing a collaborative approach to care.

Mission Statement & Goals

Ubuntu  provides quality behavioral, mental health, and substance use services to individuals and their families. Ubuntu  is committed to teaching individuals the skills needed to promote personal growth and recovery. We are dedicated to providing individuals with the tools necessary to assist with creating continued success and well-being.

All Therapeutic Substance Use Services by Ubuntu will support your recovery and well-being.  Program goals and objectives are formed individually through an Individualized Action Plan development process with your assigned providers.  If at any time your treatment needs or preferences change, your IAP will be updated to reflect the current goals and objectives for your participation in the program.

Course of the Program and Behavioral Goals

The Structured Outpatient Addiction Program (SOAP) and Substance Use Intensive Outpatient Program (Substance Use IOP) provides intensive Substance Use treatment while you continue to participate in your home, social, and work environments.  The program provides a structured space to focus on and strengthen your recovery and make progress toward your goals related to Substance Use needs. Treatment begins with a full psychosocial and substance use assessment that results in treatment recommendations and a diagnosis based on Diagnostic Statistical Manual criteria.  At this time, a start date for the SOAP/Substance Use IOP program will be selected.  

Group leaders will bring content related to managing a Substance Use Disorder and developing the skills needed to reach your goals.  Group curriculum and content is continuously influenced by current group members.  If you feel a specific topic might be useful to you or a peer, please express this to your group leader.  

Daily Schedule

A SOAP/Substance Use IOP day begins at 9:00 am and ends at 12:30pm.
